Ayia Napa Sea Monster “Stories”

There are no detailed stories that I could find of the monster but many people believe it to be the Scylla or the monster to inspire the Scylla. The Scylla was a Greek maiden sea monster of myth. Since there was evidence of it on a wall of either a house or villa in Cyprus so this caused many believe it to be the monster. But the Scylla is a major contrast to the Ayia Napa Monster because the Scylla would kill sailors that came near its home, but local fisherman “The Friendly Monster” is what they call the Ayia Napa Monster. Most of the believers say it is similar to the Scylla, while others say it looks like a crocodile or serpent. But every one can agree on the fact that Cape Greco is the monster home and all of the hotels in the area boast about being in the proximity of sightings and thus is the main attractions for tourist to see the
